air-dried
oak beams are relatively
new oak beams that are machine sawn and then slowly ‘dried’
in the open air to become stable. Our air-dried beams are
between 3 and 10 years old (none are less than 3; average
age 5; limited stock of 25 year old beams). Air-dried beams
can be cut precisely for modern building projects and are
particularly good for profiling in order to clad RSJs |
